Are you part of our biosecurity supporter network, investing in biosecurity signage for your vineyard or cellar door area?

Since we launched our popular Responsible Visitation Campaign in 2018/19, in which we designed 10 different consumer-facing signs for cellar doors, we’ve been delighted with the response. The signs communicate the importance of not walking down our vine rows uninvited.

It’s clear that industry sees these signs as an investment in best-practice farmgate hygiene.

Almost 350 of these consumer-facing signs have been purchased by vineyard owners and wine companies around the country since their launch. And as always, we welcome signage queries from both SA and interstate industry personnel. A big shout out to our interstate supporters in New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, and Western Australia.

We love seeing our beautiful signs on display, both far and wide. In case you’re wondering, the most popular styles of consumer-facing sign design ordered last financial year were the ‘Enjoy Our Wines, Protect Our Vines’ (with an image) sign in the standard size (1200mm x 900mm), followed by the ‘Please Don’t Walk Amongst our Vines’ sign in the standard size. A close runner-up was the ‘Please Stay on Track’ sign, designed for cycling and walking trails near vineyards, showing regions getting on board as well as individual companies.

We also celebrate all biosecurity supporters – send us a pic of yourself beside your new sign and tell us about how it has assisted with your biosecurity efforts. You might just find yourself featured in one of our e-newsletters! See some of our biosecurity supporters here.

Don’t have a cellar door? No worries. We still have ‘Vineyard biosecurity’ and ‘Farm biosecurity’ sign designs suitable for non-consumer facing entries. Click here to see the sign designs, available sizes and for how to order. Since the release of the farm-gate signs, there are now over 300 signs hanging on gates around the country helping to protect vineyards. Why not hang one on your gate too? Speak to us about having your name and/or phone number printed on the signs for free (non-consumer facing signs only).
