Current Australian Plague Locust (Chortoicetes terminifera) numbers indicate a very low likelihood of widespread infestations developing during the remainder of summer and early autumn according to the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry in their January 2024 locust bulletin.
Vinehealth Australia will continue to monitor the locust situation and updates will be provided if the situation changes.
