Vinehealth Australia has released a vintage biosecurity checklist, outlining a range of best practice actions growers can take to prevent the spread of phylloxera and other pests and diseases.
Hot off the press are a range of eye-catching posters available for printing. The posters prompt you to consider if you can tick the 10 biosecurity best practice farm-gate hygiene activities.
“If you can tick the 10 boxes, you’ll be well on your way to stopping pest and disease incursions on your property and you’ll be helping to keep our industry safe,” says Vinehealth Australia Technical Manager Suzanne McLoughlin.
We’ll be posting all vineyard owners a printed copy of the poster for you to put up in your shed or office (along with the new footbath protocol poster). And keep your eyes open for the posters in your local newspapers too.
