On 26 June, Glenavon Nurseries in Langhorne Creek hosted Vinehealth Australia and John Kruger to take photos of vine propagation.

These images will be added to Vinehealth’s stock images library that we use for promotional materials such as the e-news, website, fact sheets, social media and articles.

Mark Cleggett and his team were in full swing in lifting rootlings from the nursery, sorting, grading and packing rootlings ready for storage and distribution to industry.

The professional team at Glenavon visually inspected every rootling, and sorted and graded the rootlings to then be cleaned, treated and packaged.

Glenavon Nurseries is a member of the Vine Industry Nursery Association (VINA), the national certification body for our industry. It was pleasing to see clean VINA certified material being labelled and packaged by Glenavon Nurseries.

Vinehealth Australia took the opportunity to collect additional images of viticultural activities. The weather held out to enable ideal conditions for photography in the picturesque Langhorne Creek wine region.

Thank you for Glenavon Nursery for hosting us and to John Kruger for taking fantastic photos!
