Vinehealth Australia is pleased to present our 2022-23 Annual Report, which has recently been tabled in Parliament, and our 2022-23 Performance at a glance report.
As stated in the Phylloxera and Grape Industry Act 1995, Vinehealth Australia’s role is: ‘To provide for the protection of vineyards from disease and to assist and support the grape industry in South Australia.’
“Our vision is that biosecurity action is integrated in every grape and wine business, and our activities are focused on achieving this vision,” said Suzanne McLoughlin, Acting CEO of Vinehealth Australia.
“I encourage all members of the South Australian grape and wine industry to read our reports to learn about the work that we’re doing – both on the ground and behind the scenes – to keep South Australian vineyards safe.
“I thank the outgoing Chair, Dr Prue McMichael, and the Board of Vinehealth Australia for their strategic oversight and counsel, and the former CEO Inca Lee and the Vinehealth team, for their collective contribution to Vinehealth’s achievements in 2022-23, and unwavering focus on working with and for industry.
“It is with a deep sense of responsibility and respect that I continue in 2023-24 to oversee wise investment of your contributions payable into activities that will benefit industry now and into the future.”
