At the beginning of December, South Australian growers were sent their annual Vineyard Record Return to check. A reminder that your response is due by 31 January 2022.
Please take some time over the festive period to review this Record and, if necessary, amend these details which we hold on the Register.
This process is part of your obligations as a registered vineyard owner in South Australia under the Phylloxera and Grape Industry Act 1995.
We need the full name of the owner/director, the mobile number and email address. If there is an authorised person to view/amend planting records (operator or vineyard manager), please ensure that person’s details are listed correctly in the Operator section.
You also need to ensure your planting details are accurate, focusing on ‘plantings by variety’ and the ‘total areas of vineyards’ – as this is what will be used for calculating your Notice of Assessment as at April 30 2022 (at the rate of $9.50 per hectare).
You can confirm your changes using the Reply Paid envelope you received with your Vineyard Record, or by using the Register Kiosk. You can also phone Jo on (08) 8273 0550 from Monday to Thursday or email admin@vinehealth.com.au for assistance.
If there are no changes to your Vineyard Record, please let us know this too. This information assists us to confirm the accuracy of the information we hold as a whole.
