In May, Vinehealth Australia created a communication initiative for critical news. These Biosecurity Alerts are email summaries of key information relating to a biosecurity matter.

We’ve produced two Biosecurity Alerts to date, the first detailing the extension to the Maroondah PIZ boundary, and the second sharing information about brown marmorated stink bugs, which were discovered in a shipping container of timber from the USA that arrived in Port Adelaide in May.

As the name suggests, these are ‘warnings’ that we must share with growers and other relevant stakeholders within a short timeframe of their occurrence.

Distribution is electronic via email for timely delivery. As a result, we urge all growers who have not supplied us with an email address to do so promptly.

Previously communicated Biosecurity Alerts can be found on our website here: https://vinehealth.com.au/news-events/biosecurity-alerts/
